Classical music will experience an exceptional evening on Sunday, 23 March 2025 at the prestigious Smetana Hall (Municipal House) in Prague at 7.30pm.

Known as one of the greatest contemporary sopranos, Angela Gheorghiu, whose voice can be described as lyrical, expressive and powerful, with a distinctive ability to convey a deep emotional range, is renowned for her rich, velvety tone and unique timbre which, combined with her impeccable vocal technique and dramatic interpretation, enable her to captivate and move audiences. Her repertoire, which includes bel canto, verismo and French romantic roles, demonstrates her versatility and mastery of a wide range of genres. Angela Gheorghiu is often praised for her natural musicality and elegance on stage, making her not only an accomplished opera singer, but also a true diva in the original sense.

Sharing the stage with her will be the dazzling tenor Teodor Ilincai, Maestro Nayden Todorov and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
