Years ago when I first sat and pondered how best to address you, it was still with pencil in hand and a brilliantly blank piece of paper staring in front of me. Right now, however, I have no desire to take stock or become in any way sentimental. All that’s needed is to say thank you. To all my colleagues and friends for their endurance, to our philanthropists for their support and trust, but most of all to you, our subscribers, audience members and listeners, for your goodwill and loyalty. All of you are the reason why we are able to proudly meet again next year for the thirtieth year in a row.
