Part of this year’s program was the concert Echoes of the Czech Cinema, prepared in collaboration with Composers Summit Prague, MUSEXPO, and SoundCzech. At the Colony Theatre, world premieres of compositions by Czech composers inspired by Czechoslovak cinema were performed by the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra.

On behalf of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, manager Dušan Mihely attended the conference, where he met with representatives of the international music and film industries and monitored the latest developments in music production and distribution.

Participation in MUSEXPO provided Czech representatives with access to an international network of contacts as well as the latest industry trends. Among producers, composers, and film studio representatives, Czech music once again reinforced its position on the international stage.

This activity was carried out within the LinksOut funding call, organized by the SoundCzech export office of the National Institute for Culture.
