In the autumn of 2019, music for the upcoming ballet The Great Gatsby, based on Fitzgerald's famous novel, was recorded in our studio. Carl Davis, who has been collaborating with the CNSO for almost 20 years, proved that besides being an amazing conductor he is equally exceptional composer. Part of this concert is therefore dedicated to Maestro Carl Davis' work.

The program will feature three parts of his aforementioned suite in its world concert premiere. The music contains elements of jazz, swing and the colours of incidental music. Lead by conductor Kryštof Marek, the orchestra will follow up with compositions by other contemporary American greats in the field of film scores and will perform suites from several legendary movies.
