A chance encounter between Jan Hasenöhrl and a selection of stellar jazzmen led to the formation of Jan Hasenöhrl & The Loop Jazz Orchestra. This group has created numerous successful projects over the years. The orchestra is now releasing a curated collection of jazz pieces, performed at three concerts as part of 2021’s Prague Proms line-up. This included: Focused on Latin Jazz, Focused on Quincy Jones and Focused on Czech Big Band Composers. All three projects were met with great success and filmed by a crew from Czech Television. The jazz collection features compositions by Joe Zawinul, Sammy Nestico, Quincy Jones and many more.
