The Cinema Jazz Night – Jazz in Film project, presented as part of the Altmark Festspiele festival, brings together the worlds of film and jazz through iconic compositions that have made their mark on the silver screen.
The program features music by renowned composers such as Michel Legrand, Duke Ellington, Marvin Gaye, and Lalo Schifrin. Audiences can look forward to a blend of film melodies and jazz improvisation – from lyrical themes to energetic rhythms.
The evening offers a rich musical experience in which jazz breathes new life into well-known film stories in a concert setting. All performed by The Loop Jazz Orchestra and soloists from the legendary American vocal group, the Jeremy Winston Chorale.
