During less than two hundred years since his death, Ludwig van Beethoven has become one of the milestones in the history of music. The year 1827 when the composer died, marks the transition between the era of classicism and romanticism. Undoubtedly, one of his most important works is the 5th Symphony. It belongs among his apex symphonies and at the same time a watershed in symphonic composition in general. Already at the time of its creation, the 5th amazed with its length, impact and musical style.
