Michael Kocáb needs little introduction. A civil activist, politician, entrepreneur, music composer, and singer, he is one of the most prominent figures in both Czech music and politics. His band, Pražský výběr, was a defining force in the Czech new wave scene, which is why the communist regime banned it for several years.
Michael Kocáb's life has truly been a rollercoaster ride, and the celebration of his 70th birthday at Metronome Prague 2024 promises to be just that.
