The Czech National Symphony Orchestra is heading to Germany. Taking place in early February at the Rosenheim Culture and Congress Centre, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and Polish conductor Jurek Dybal will accompany acclaimed violinist Alissa Margulis.

They will perform the Academic Festival Overture by Johannes Brahms and Symphony No. 8 in G major by Antonín Dvořák. The program will also include the famous Brahms Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major. The solo parts will be exclusively performed by the young virtuoso violinist Alissa Margulis.

Alissa Margulis was born in Germany into a family of Russian musicians. She studied in Cologne and won numerous prizes from her performances in international violin competitions. In particular, she is well known for her expression and emotiveness during her performances. She regularly plays in famous concert halls around the world, and in addition to her solo career, she is an enthusiastic chamber musician. Furthermore, she collaborates with prominent artists such as Alexander Buzlov, Martha Argerich, Gidon Kremer or Mischa Maisky.
