Music is the bridge between our lives and our imaginations. It gives us courage, strength and shapes our unique personalities. Music is an inspiration, which we can use to escape into our own worlds where we feel safe. But above all, music connects us. The last thirty years of existence of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra has convinced us that this effect is real and timeless.

During this era, we have had the opportunity to meet a great number of Czech and international performers, and our cooperations have subsequently turned into lifelong friendships. We value these friendships immensely. This is why we have decided to create a concert dedicated to these relationships, entitled the Jan Hasenöhrl & Lots of Friends concert for our supporters. Our audience members will be able to listen to a selection of great music in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House, and feel the magical effects of this music, which really brings people together.

In the words of host Jan Hasenöhrl: “I am very much looking forward to this concert, because, as the name suggests, I will see a lot of my old friends on stage. In forty-five years of working in the industry, there have been quite a few of them, especially during the three decades of the CNSO's existence. The concert is a look back over the years and the people I was lucky enough to meet and play with.”
