Dear Listeners,

I’m delighted to welcome you as we embark on a brand new CNSO season. A season which holds extra special importance to us. And this despite the fact that, breaking from tradition, we’ll only be coming together in the Smetana Hall on three occasions. There are inevitably certain repercussions for us following on from what has happened in recent months. One of these is sadly the need to strip back our subscription series. But we are adamant not to succumb to despondency and are already busy putting together the next season along with the Prague Proms festival. With the support of our partners, our music director Steven Mercurio and Carl Davis, our orchestra has weathered the storm and as our Hollywood Night at the end of the summer part of the Prague Proms proved, the atmosphere we co-create in a full Smetana Hall is back.

We’re eternally grateful for that and determined not to lose it.

See you soon!
