As has been the case in previous years, work on planning our 28th season concert programmes was started well in advance of the schedule and we remain confident that the subscription series will go ahead in keeping with our original plans.

That said, given a number of the artists including our music director, Steven Mercurio, hail from abroad, the situation surrounding the pandemic has impacted us even more and we need to respond by ensuring none of our concerts suffer as a result.

We’re convinced that this enforced spiritual convalescence will serve as an important agent in bolstering the health of fans of beautiful music.

The Czech National Symphony Orchestra warmly invites you to all upcoming concerts in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House and other venues where it has welcomed you now for almost three decades.
